Larry Casper will have a presentation on bluebirds as a member of the Jackson County Bird Club on Wednesday, May 14, for the Friends of the Black River Meeting at 7 PM in the basement of the Co-Op Credit Union, 100 E.Main Street, Black River Falls, WI.

Wisconsin Society of Ornithology Convention, May 15-18.
Dr. Kent Hall presents How to Develop a Bluebird Trail (including a tour of the Mee-Kwon Park Bluebird Trail) on May 17, at the 2008 Wisconsin Society of Ornithology Convention at the Pieper Power Education Center at the Mequon Nature Preserve, Mequon, Wisconsin.

Natural Resources Foundation Field Trip: Plover, WI, June 28. Dr. Kent Hall presents Everything You Ever Wanted to Ask About Bluebirds But Were Afraid to Ask, including a tour of the Aldo Leopold Audubon Society's Eastern Bluebird Trail.

Oshkosh Bird Club, September 2
The Status of Eastern Bluebirds in Wisconsin Today
will be presented to Oshkosh Bird Club. Pat Ready will give his PowerPoint presentation with the latest information on Eastern Bluebird fledging success and a visual tour of monitoring one of his trails in southern Wisconsin. The life cycle of common cavity nesting songbirds will be included in his slide presentation.
